Sometimes it is difficult for me to step away from my art and try to see it how others might see it.
For many weeks I've worked on the big and little details for my upcoming art show, wondering if the story I wanted to tell would be seen in the paper chosen for the decorative frames, in the images I photographed over several days, in the fine art cotton paper that took my breath away when it arrived fresh from my printer, in the fabric garland I made while watching a marathon of Lifetime movies and in the hand sewn photograph cards I had thought about but wasn't sure I could execute as imagined.
Today Mom (thank you!! xo) and I headed up to Leanna Lin's Wonderland to install my creations. A few hours later as I stepped back one final time to take it all in my stomach fluttered with excitement and happiness...
