A quick shower of rain fell a few nights ago, with promises from channel-such-and-such and channel-so-and-so that more was to follow...I awoke, peered out the window, walked, looked up into the gray clouds, did yoga, checked for raindrops in the parking lot...no rain, not today and tomorrow it is warming up again.

We were lucky enough to get quite a bit of rain up here in Northern California. I love rain!
Those little details become entire environments in those lush, soft tones.
haha, you're funny, and we're the exact opposite as I sit here and pray that it'll take just a little longer before it rains, cause I just want it to stay sunny and warm all year round!

oh it came here instead... although there was a peek of sunshine for about 2 minutes yesterday. back to clouds again today.
I hope same thing will happen here in NY. It's raining now, they say it will stay this way for a bit.
I love the fall, but really don't like rain!
