My mom's friend Elaine collects vintage wedding cake toppers along with vintage wall pockets, pottery and candy jars. Pam and I were treated to apple fritters (thanks to Elaine's sweet husband) and an afternoon of photographs and stories. Looking forward to adding some lovey dovey prints to the shop.

a quietness

when I woke up this morning I felt a little lighter, I didn't rush, I took time to pet
the kitties and clean the fallen needles from beneath the tree, after many busy days
it is wonderful to feel the quiet of the season wrap around me like my favorite blanket...

oh so pretty

Mom found some lovely vintage jewels today to put in her Etsy shop. One bracelet needed a tiny wire fixed on the back so she sent it home with me to fix, but now I fear I am falling in love with this sweet treasure and it may not make it back to her. 

new glasses

As you can see, I mean the type of glasses you use for beverages. They are very old, but new to me and perfectly pretty.
