of Italy

Some very good friends are on an airplane right now headed to Italy for Christmas. Before departing on
their holiday adventure they treated us to homemade pizelles, raspberry linzer cookies and hazelnut linzer cookies. Kadee and I will happily be munching away on these as we knit all day long....

brisk wintery walks in the evenings
cookies baked...and eaten
packages arriving at my doorstep
a swedish gingerbread house was built
ornaments unpacked and put upon the tree
movies enjoyed
sleeping in has been relished
cozy socks fill the laundry
layers of colorful scarves piled up to wear
lists written and checked off
cards still to address
